Hi David, Back in Sheffield after SROC conference and able to pick up your blog. You sound a tad tired old lad but do hope you keep well and drink plenty of red wine! Hope you keep writing & sending pics (not pigs!)so that we don't miss you too much. Take care, God Bless Malcolm
All these places sound familiar - we have spent several holidays in theis area and travelled quite extensively - BY CAR - it is much easier this way! Have you seen any bird-life of note - I remember last summer seeing Eagles over the mountains, Fantastic.
Did think of choosing you a few songs for you journey: One Hundred Miles, Help me Ronda, Got my Mojon Working
Have you worked out a new technique for writing on the palm pilot or have you just got in to the swing of it? Seems you're writing much more and really waxing eloquent! It's great to have the details -prices, distances, detail of scenery, even meals, and, as regards the latter, to know that you're not surviving on bocadillos de queso/jamon.
I'm following you adventures in South Spain. It's great what you're doing. This is my first experience with a blog and I'm enjoying it a lot. Soon you'll know Spain much better than me. I wish you the best during the rest of your journey. Take care, Patxeko
A walking trip along the GR-7 path from utiel-requena to fredes. I've skipped the section from bocairent to el rebollar owing to the lack of accommodation in route.
