About germans
I knew they were German because they definitely weren't English, and they didn't seem Dutch. I hope this answers your question.
It doesn't make any difference that magnetic north was changed - the gps works off big birds in the sky.
Today's report to follow, although judging from the number of comments today, it looks like my circulation is falling.

Tell the truth, Dave, they were carrying sun loungers and towels!!
Don't worry about dwindling circulation 'cos it's not true as we are all thoroughly enjoying your reports even if we do struggle with some of your prose. You're doing brilliant, keep it up and think about beer in the Bath. cheers, Mal

Mu buenas,
Cuidate y alimentate bien.

what do you mean, struggle with my prose? It's limpid!

Don't worry - your circulation isn't falling, we're all still reading, just running out of witty things to say!

Very impressed, Dave....and very envious also. Not sure if it's the food, drink, sun, scenery or people that appeals most…but, really, it’s probably the experience of it all and the satisfaction you must feel that’s so attractive. Can I reserve a signed copy of the forthcoming bestseller of your exploits? Mick
